As his daughter 'squirmed' to get away, Tabor said he submerged her face three or four times until the water was lapping around her forehead and jawline.
Tabor, 27, who had won custody of his daughter only four weeks earlier, admitted choosing the punishment because the girl was terrified of water. - Source I- Source IIHonestly I'm just at a loss for words. What on earth would make him think this would be at all acceptable?

Sad, but parents do awful things to their children all the time. At least she won't have lasting (physical) damage for this one, and he's getting in trouble for it.

Don't think what he did quite counts as waterboarding but all the same, seriously? I'm glad they took action though. He's in court and can't see his kid or girlfriend. I wonder why the girl didn't go with the girlfriend instead of being taken into care? They didn't say anything about her being a psycho.

She won't say the alphabet, so I'll use one of her fears against her? Wtf? Don't think what he did quite counts as waterboarding but all the same, seriously? I'm glad they took action though. I think after something like that they have to make sure so she doesn't go back into an abusive home.

Tru. I just think at that age I'd hate to lose the people I'd known for that long and get sent somewhere else or something. Maybe extended family? If they can do that

I wouldn't have said he was a soldier since he's actually a pilot; and fyi, that's not what waterboarding actually is...
That being said, he should definatly be punished...personally he should given a towel party...

I would hate to see what the guy would do when he was actually angry about something. Anyone have updates on that case?
