This year our event takes place inside the Halloween Mansion of Desolace, where people from all over gather to see if they can face the ghosts and spirits of Halloween for an entire month. This information pertains mostly to the roleplay, and discusses our current plans for the future.

There are plenty of visible changes in the roleplay area right now. Most of the information has been redone and reorganized, and a bit of information has been added for clarity. You can now see pretty much everything you'll ever need to know in the Tavern, which contains the current plot (which has been completely remade, actually giving roleplayers something to follow), the rules, and the FAQ. The rules and FAQ has been updated, so please make sure to read them before proceeding.

The profiles area has been slightly changed, and it is now required to have a roleplay profile accepted before roleplaying. Make sure you check up on these updates as well to make sure you know everything necessary before beginning your roleplay. If you have any questions about anything from the rules, FAQ or profiles, please PM either Artemis or Isabelle. Note that current profile /will be removed/ within the next few days, so if you have any information you wish to save, please do so now.

The roleplay setup will also be different. For starters, there will be on thread per World in the roleplay board, making it easier for people to figure out what's going on. Each starting post will have basic information about the World itself. The current plot affects all Worlds equally, so there's no need to worry about anything World-specific just yet. We're not going to be letting people start their own threads until/unless activity picks up significantly.

Finally, Kamicat has offered to help with the roleplay itself. She has already helped immensely with FA's current design and outlook, and has also offered plenty of assistance towards the growth of this roleplay. In the future she may take over some actual roleplay duties, but for now, the roleplay will be opening with its new changes soon. This is everyone's chance to prove they actually want it there.

This clears up a lot for me. I really had no clue how to start, so I started off by reading some of the glossary and information on the world races, but I haven't quite gotten into reading the detailed descriptions that you have of the world's themselves. At least now I know where to go once I've done all that reading.
